Wringford sits on the Rame peninsula in Cornwall, just over the Tamar river from Plymouth in Devon.
The peninsula is known as the "forgotten corner" of Cornwall and is a peaceful and beautiful place.
The local villages of Cawsand, Kingsand and Millbrook have a fishing/smuggling history and the beach at Whitsand Bay is 4 miles of South facing sand backed by cliffs.
Much of the Rame peninsula is part of Mount Edgcumbe Country House and Park.
The Rame pensinsula is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty (aonb).
